Setting up shop in a former toy factory, Chocolate Cake Design is a collective of like-minded artists and friends who desire “a maker’s space” - a welcoming, communal environment - where they could work and learn together. Comprised of members with diverse backgrounds and aspirations, Chocolate Cake Design is united by a desire to collaborate and grow as artists - and ultimately to contribute to the renewed cultural vitality of Detroit.
