Nastia Tumash

Designer (UX, UI, Graphic)

"The urge for good design is the same as the urge to go on living."
Harry Bertoia

I position myself as both UI/UX and graphic designer; my interest is the development of user-oriented experiences with appealing visual aesthetic.

User-experience design is an opportunity to listen and respond to users' needs in the fusion of functionality and visual language. What is fascinating about user-experience design is a combination of user-centered features embedded into experience that a design product provides.

While working I apply system-thinking approach that helps to see a larger picture with the focus on details of design experience. Being both interaction and graphic designer is one of my personal advantages that lets me take part in multiple stages of design process, from research in order to identify a design problem toward design solutions.
Particularly I am interested in the development of personas, scenarios and storyboarding leading to prototyping and testing of a future design experience. To summarize, user-interface development and user-experience design are the fields of my strong interest.

Furthermore, today it is important to articulate multitasking and multidisciplinary communication skills due to the collaborative nature of the user-experience design. Working in a team and having a dialogue with professionals from other fields are important in order to bring a thoughtful, well structured but flexible design experience to the users.
