Nansy Charitonidou (1985) was born in Greece. She is currently living in London and as an artist her practice is focused on painting, printmaking and photography. She holds a BA in Fine Arts and Art Sciences from the University of Ioannina (Greece) and an MA in European Art Practice from Kingston University (United Kingdom). Ath the moment she is undertaking her second MA in Museums and Gallery Studies (Kingston University 2011-2013). Her range of activities covers areas such as painting, printmaking, appropriation, collage and photography. Theoretically the concept of her work is related to the meaning of the image. Through the use of photographs chosen randomly from newspapers & magazines as well as from family photo albums, she wants to create a new visual and conceptual world. Read Less
