The master program "Interactive Information Design" focuses on the visualization methods of digital and interactive media. The student groups are small and with different backgrounds. Most students come from classical communication design, others from photography or industrial design. Like all master studies at Muthesius Academy the course is laid out for 4 semesters, with the 4th semester is to be used exclusively for the creation of the final thesis.
Graduates will work, for example, as information architects to develop strategies for visualizing and structuring complex contents and systems. Information designer publish in any media or invent new interdisciplinary spaces of knowledge transfer, for example linking museum exhibits with experience spaces.
