I am the lead graphic designer for the UK's biggest Macron Store, with a whole host of duties from meeting with clients to design custom kits and advertisement flyers to managing the design department, keeping it running and functioning smoothly.

I launched the business online after starting with the company by creating their very own e-commerce site, I also produce all of the company’s internal and external artwork such as flyers, advertisements, promotional material, presentations and artwork proofs regularly liaising with the other Macron stores from around the UK and Europe to ensure that the work they send us is produced to the highest standard.

During my time here I have also had the opportunity to do large format printing with a Roland SP-300V. Screen printing using a 6 colour pneumatic machine and I have worked with embroidery software designing badges to be embroidered onto garments.

I was tasked with launching the business online by creating their own E-commerce website during a six month work placement which also included other duties such as working in the store serving customers and hosting trading card tournaments for up to 30 people at a time.

I achieved a 2:1 degree in an intensive games course which focused more on the practical side leaning heavily on skills which we needed in order to succeed in any creative industry such as the ability to learn software to its highest standard while still being able to produce outstanding work and how to manage out time effective and hit deadlines. The course was tough and demanding but I thrived in the environment achieving a good final grade and a final project along with a set of skills that I was very proud of.
