I have recently worked at Rojo&co on the design side for their website. I considered the process of booking an event and incorporated a visual style that guides their customers through the criteria. I worked on their brand identity and a new logo.

I promoted the theatrical performance 'Love at First Light'. It was an honor to collaborate with Directors, Greg Cullen and Phil Williams from the production company, Shock N Awe. The finished piece was on exhibition in the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff, May 2012. This was such a proud moment!

I have gained work experience within a variety of creative environments in the UK including an art gallery, TV, film and theatrical production companies, design agencies and as a fleelance graphic designer. However, I have worked as different roles for advertising as a featured cast role for Coca Cola commercial and a model for the Llandrillo college perspectus and office window. I have collaborated with many creative professionals and maintained relationships within the design industry. I have worked across a wide range of media and have capability in research, idea generation, designs, meetings, printing techniques and documentation. I have developed multiple skills in numerous formats embracing two-dimensional, digital and audio design.

I am curretnly working on brand identity for a starting business called Welsh Rapido that will be up and running in the next month. Welsh Rapido is a maintenance specialists company that offers cleaning, electrics, gardening and painting services based in Cardiff.

Initially I had work experience for View Creative when they were located in Conwy in 2004 for a week and I joined them again for work experience in April 2011 for 2 weeks. I collaborated with the team on a package design project for Village Diary.

I have gained work experience for the TV and film production company, Believe Media. My role mainly consists of idea generation in the treatment process for production, meetings with potential and/or current clients and was a runner to design agencies, print bureau and many more.

I had work experience for a week and worked towards 2 wedding invitations. One being based on a rugby theme and the other on crystals. I developed my designing skills in creating my first website.

My job involved designing for logos, flyers, leaflets and proposals for the starting business in student night events at Cardiff. I communicated with Nations Radio creative team and Capital Radio with regards to working on a jingle. I collaborated with web designer, Leon Govier for website and print duties.

I have learned so much during this degree in how to communicate graphically using multiple skills for layout, typography treatment, branding, mainly in idea generation. The assignments really challenged my creativity and has made me become a better graphic designer, professionally. I now see and dissect graphic design in a different way as I did 3 years ago.

Qualified first year and moved to Cardiff Metropolitan University
