Miriam Puente

Multimedia Designer

Miriam Puente is a multimedia artist and arts tutor. Personally, she considers herself as a Tijuanense since she was born in Tijuana. When she is not designing or taking photographs, she likes to study acting, particularly the Stanivlasky Method, writing short stories and to play with her dog Tuco. Puente has a knack for teaching art, but a hard time admitting it is her passion. She is normally known for being shy and reserved, yet lovable: a sort of eldest sister for her group of friends. She is a bit nervous, but always level-headed in times of need. She started in arts as a 4 year old at “Casa de la Cultura de Tijuana”, and while the rest of her classmates painted the geometrical figures in purple, Miriam preferred to paint them differently. She is, certainly, not a trend follower, but an innovator. She keeps making art and design in an attempt to understand the world that surrounds her, to sharpen her senses, and to keep that fiery dragon that inhabits her head at bay. Recently, she was accepted at UnADM, where she will pursue a B.A. in Software Development while satisfying her curiosity.
