Lead UI designer for a small Melbourne based mobile application developmeny company. I enjoyed working with a talented team of developers, specialising in iPhone and iPad applications with the occasional Android app thrown in for good measure.

This ongoing experience is both enjoyable and creatively in-valuable as it has given me the opportunity to catch the ever developing mobile technology wave and transfer my knowledge of UI design and web design to the smaller screen, enabling me to really enjoy and learn about mobile apps.

During my second year in Australia I worked as web designer for Melbourne based SEO and web marketing company, Web Marketing Experts. During my time there the company experienced large success and massive growth, seeing the workforce more than double in size within 6 months.

I played a close role in the running of the design & development department and was able to really develop my client facing and project management skills, as well as really hone my design abilities. As well as this I was able to gain valuable insight into SEO practices and its importance in current web design and has allowed me to incorporate these techniques into my work.

I spent the first few months of my working holiday in Australia contracting for Melbourne based design company, Mountain Studios where I joined the small, talented team of designers and developers. I was responsible for the design, build and management of web based projects for exciting clients including Hungry Jacks (Burger King), Trident Foods and S&W Mayonnaise.

I spent a successful 2 year period as a freelance multimedia designer in Englands vibrant seaside resort of Brighton before moving overseas to slightly more sunny pastures in Melbourne Australia. My time freelancing was mainly spent in the warm Chemical X studio, a boutique brighton based studio whose main client base is within the mobile games industry. I worked on web based projects ranging from designing and developing microsites, visualising online promotions and producing artwork for leading mobile games clients, including Disney, Sony, iPlay, O2 and Lego.
