(TUPE from Inview Technology Ltd). In my current role as UI Designer I create, define and implement solutions for all of Core TVs applications. Conceptualising original ideas, wireframing and prototyping. Creating high fidelity designs and usability/feature specifications. Working with the engineering team in the creation and support of Java layout files and assets. Bug fixing and self-management.

Also, the creation and maintenance of the company’s brand identity, website and digital presentation material.

During this time I had two roles, managing a team of designers and senior designer.

In my management role I would take customers’ requirements and investigate how to best approach the brief. Responsible for providing time estimates, recruitment, training, prioritising work, attend daily meetings and assigning tasks. Reviewing workload and signing off completed work.

As senior designer I would create mock-ups for prospective clients, design wireframes and prototypes. Fully document all UI functionality and usability, high fidelity images, provide engineer support in the creation and maintenance of screens.

I created promotional videos, ran a recording studio, attended events to capture footage and take professional photographs. Created websites for school projects and ran media classes for teachers and pupils.

I was involved with the in-house marketing including logos, brochures, posters and signage. Design and planned the creation of the Media Broadcast Centre and ran its use for both film, live video production, audio recording and photography.

On completing my HND in Multimedia at Halton College, I was approached by Greater Merseyside Connexions Partnership to undertake a project which involved developing an interactive and engaging website for Sefton Youth service.

In my role at Ikon Computers I was responsible for the maintenance and support of computer equipment across the North West, including parts of the UK. As a customer facing role, it was vital to demonstrate a professional approach at all times. I worked without supervision, demonstrating my ability to work on my own initiative, solving problems and ensuring the reputation of the company was maintained.

During my time at Rockliff Computers, I developed key skills in a number of areas: Hardware upgrades and installations, software installs, virus checking, asset management and license control. I developed and implemented a process to record numerous software versions, hardware models and peripheral variations. The role required a very high level of computer literacy and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Studied full time for a HND in Multimedia at Halton College. Finished course with an overall distinction (19 distinctions).
