For over 15 years, Mike Genato has maintained several different musical identities, running the gamut from composer, record producer, and sound designer, to audio creative director, music supervisor, and record label owner.

Today, Genato brings his next-gen sound and slightly left-of-centre approach to high-profile projects, including trailers for Syfy's 12 Monkeys, The Expanse, and The Magicians, advertising campaigns for the US Navy, Infiniti, and Nissan; specials on HBO, Comedy Central, VH1, and BET; independent films Bomb It and Bomb It 2; and a myriad of music placements on many of today's top TV shows. He is also co-founder of RVRSPLAY, an audio boutique geared toward creating music for Games, Movie Trailers, and Interactive/VR projects.

Mike Genato started his career in 1998 as a record producer for the world renowned drum & bass collective, Mathematics. Among the first stateside acts to break into the (at the time) largely UK-dominated scene, Mathematics gained the support of established DJ's Andy C, LTJ Bukem, and Bryan Gee, as well as radio love from BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra. Mike then went on to produce and develop indie R&B sensation Peter Hadar, and soulful songstress Irene Merring, with tracks making their way to NYC's legendary Hot97, and garnering press from YRB, URB Magazine, XLR8R, and Okayplayer, to name a few.
