Research Assistant
As an assistant to Prof. Marc Swackhammer, I helped to develop a variable vacuum-form mold for a tile design. The design used information from a Grasshopper model in Rhino to control the heights of various hexagonal pieces to create a topographic pattern across a series of wall panels. This early prototyping helped in the development of further studies and the process/product recently won the Architecture Magazine R+D Award for 2014.
