I teach a variety of graphic design courses to undergraduate students. Courses include; typography, web design, design methods, and the senior capstone project. I've also taught publication design. Other responsibilities include advising and meeting with individual students, serving on various committees and giving service to the University.

Work as part of small team to explore, resolve, and execute concepts for print and web media under the direction of the Art Director. Projects range from University websites, to data visualizations for financial reports, to alumni magazines, and office holiday greeting. Additional duties include press checks, client presentations, and directing photo shoots.

Assist in the instruction of classes. Involves explanation of principles, critiques, and demos.

Designing Toys – Fall 2012

Instructed 9 classes at the highschool level. Classes included Multimedia I and II, Pre-Engineering, Adv. Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Foundations of Technology, Intro and Adv Web Design, and Intervention.

Worked with the inhouse design team creating the educational web site (learning suite),
and print and video promotions for the new learning suite.

Worked closely with professors teaching class principles, running labs and helping students
with questions. The course material included: The Adobe Suite, basic design principles,
introductory photography, introductory video, creative thinking and robotics.

Illustrated figures to be published in the Anthropology department’s papers.

Created Flash animations teaching principles of Astronomy. Worked with professor to plan
the most effective way of illustrating and teaching principles to his class.
