However, different people can have different results mainly due to the different dosage of HCA that different supplements contain. People have been continuously discovering and proving if it truly delivers highest results while still being safe for humans to consume.
As of present, they said that the most effective and safe dosage is 1600mg per date. Even though there have not been any side effects recorded in healthy human beings, some experts said that people with diabetes is not recommended to use Garcinia Cambogia. The reason for this one is its capability of lowering sugar levels. Moreover, it can also affect the serotonin level of the body. Thus, people who take medications in order to regulate their cholesterol level or those taking anti-depressants should also avoid taking it for it might interfere with the anti-depressant medication’s effectiveness.

The first group received Garcinia Cambogia while the second group received placebo. This study showed that both of the groups have lost weight. There was also a study conducted on rats. It is said that the HCA has inhibited citrate lyase or a fat enzyme that stopped their body’s capability of making fat from carbohydrates. Studies conducted on humans has also proved this fact as well but with a lesser consistent level. The reason for this is most likely due to the difference in dosage levels, diet and the activities that an individual do. There were studies reporting that an effective supplement contains 60% of HCA or higher for a more successful result. As much as possible, those supplements with binders and fillers should also be avoided for this might also affect the effect of the supplement or might even lessen its effect. Many people have been using these kinds of supplements containing Garcinia Cambogia. However, it is still better to consult a doctor before even trying out something that might have an effect on the body.
