Flournoy Properties/Mid-America Apartment Communities
Graphic Designer
This was my first corporate job outside of a print shop environment. This is where I learned how to work with a team of driven sales people who needed me to perform high-end design on tight deadlines. I designed all print collateral, logos and designed custom 3D signage for an affluent target demographic.

VIP Printing & Graphics
Graphic Designer
In-house print shop graphic designer responsible for quick turn and large scale print designs. This is where I found out that real-world design wasn't anything like creating for a professor. It was an exceptional introduction to getting the screen to match the printed page – lessons that still serve me well to this day. There are stories from this job - oh the many, many stories. Happy to share them with anyone who's read this and wants to hear about the angry print client and the truck of empty boxes.
