During my development years I was a Scout and, along side helping my community, I also went to Kenya with missionaries to work with kids in schools, as I was doing in Italy. Whilst attending my bachelor degree in London I have acquired the skills to design from small to large scale without losing track of the details and how to better use the visual and written tools I had to deliver the intended message. Most importantly I had realised that people had to be at the utmost center of any decision.
I have worked successfully alone, designing and constructing installations in Italy, but also in a team, co-founding UNIT+ Collective and B-ville Publications. During my time in London I have also worked as an assistant for fashion photographers, completing duties ranging from production to seeking photo-shoot locations, from selecting and contacting models to post-producing images. During my time at Studio Funk and Movement for Hope I learnt the value of social media for business, and how to constantly reach a crowd of followers with interesting and pro-active posts. As I completed my university degree I worked for Public Works with projects in Bulgaria, Germany and London, where I learnt the more technical side of architecture producing drawings for builders to read, and visuals to get the building applications approved by councils. But as my passion for graphic design took over, my free-lance work increased and I decided to take time off from architecture to improve my knowledge traditional methods of design and of working more with costumers, I joined a printing company. I was dealing with costumers daily, helping them with their printing needs as well as their design needs. In October 2013 I moved to Hong Kong where I worked with a medium size FMCG eye-wear company as their in-house designer. There I learnt how to successfully re-brand a company and increase, through online presence and personal interaction, the legitimacy of the mission statement and the readership of the corporate web-page which resulted in new business opportunities in niche markets.
At L’albero di Momo, English school for kids, I re-branded the company, on the verge of franchise expansion in north of Italy, created a unified vision of the company and generated a following of costumers through their mascot, Momo the bear. Read Less
