Hej I’m Martin, a skinny Swede and a conceptual hybrid creative who likes to make useful and disruptive things. Things that solve problems, things that make people talk and feel challenged, things that makes brands famous. My heart’s in the future, but in my head I’m hybrid, always pushing for the best way to execute the idea, using all available channels/platforms and inventing new ones when opportunities occurs.

I believe that a lot of advertising today interrupts and annoys the consumer. So my mission has always been to get people involved in the story so they can help it evolve across different channels. I communicate with people on their terms, listen to them and give them the remote control. I’m a big advocate of ideas that are bigger than an ad – ideas that are a part of a connected and evolving ecosystem, that can influence culture and create new arenas for brands.

I started off in 1998, working for agencies in Sweden. A few years later, I went back to school to make up my own approach to communication, taking a degree at Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm, followed by another one at Central Saint Martins in London.

Since then I’ve been working at agencies like Crispin Porter + Bogusky, TBWA, Razorfish, R/GA, Work Club and Tribal DDB, creating award-winning work for brands like Diesel, Pringles, Far Cry 3, Ubisoft and Kalles Kaviar. I have more brand experience on Burger King, Adidas, Nokia, McDonalds, Nissan, Blackberry, Philips, Apple, PlayStation, Volkswagen, The Guardian, Blackberry, Lidl and Skittles. My skills include; storytelling, business/product innovation, art direction, creative direction, creative concepting, brand development, digital/interactive experiences, social media strategy, user experience, ecosystems, rapid prototyping and creative technology.
