I am an LA based artist and graphic designer but hail from San Francisco.

I received my BFA from RISD with a focus on Illustration and print making. Upon moving to LA, I studied Production Design at AFI's Masters program and worked for Disney and Warner Bros. (world-wide merchandising) for several years while continuing my freelance Editorial Illustration for nat'l publications such as; UTNE READER, MOTHER JONES, MIX, NPQ, BUZZ, LA TIMES, LA WEEKLY.

I converged these disciplines & skill sets and landed in the world of Communication Arts. For 15 years + I worked in the non-profit sector for leading Museums and organizations including; LA Natural History Museum, UCLA FOWLER and UCLA HAMMER, SKIRBALL Museum, FINE ARTS MUSEUMS of SF (de YOUNG), TREEPEOPLE, MRCA and FoLAR.

Currently, I work as a Freelance Senior Graphic Designer or Art Director with a focus on branding, package design and marketing for smaller or start up companies. I'm represented by Creative Circle and Syndicate Blue agencies.

My passion for all things paper keeps me busy in my home studio and converted garage (Backspace Gallery) where I curate group shows and works on commissions.
