I have over 24 years experience in graphic design, litho print, large format, signage and exhibitions industry and am presently working in Cardiff as a Creative Manager/Production Manager/Sales and Pre-Press.
I currently work for Fabfab and Exhibit Group. At fabfab I helped grow the business from scratch by getting sales, meeting clients, taking briefs, ordering stock, designing all the way through to completion.
Half of my other duties involved printing and cutting for Exhibit Group for large format exhibitions.
Previous to that I work at Promotion Line design agency in Colchester where I did work for Nestle Purina who do Bakers, Felix and a majority of the Pet Food promotions. Working to tight deadlines, adhering to brand guidelines with a attention for detail.
Other companies included Printhouse Corporation which I worked for 12 years, where my duties are liaising and pitching to clients, meeting briefs, sketching ideas, concepts and branding, preparing artwork for digital & litho. There I worked with AEG, O2, Lloyds Market Association, Starkmann, Orexis, Bureau Van Dijk, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Chapman Ventilation, People1st, Sportsrabilia, Brampton College, Mossbourne School, Everyman Cinemas, Giraffe Restaurants and Coventry City FC.
I have excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite products, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Operating a Canon flatbed printer, Zund cutting device and OMAX WaterJet Cutter. I am capable using Word and powerpoint. In web I use Adobe XD, Wordpress, Coda. Trueflow CPT, and Flatworker, PDF Pitstop, Pre-press knowledge.
My strongest abilities are drawing, so visualizing sketches through to concept and finish artwork is one of my greatest skills. I am the all-round Creative Artist.
I was also awarded Employee of the Year award at Tolputt Keeton Print, Tamworth, Staffordshire Business Awards for my hard work (6 years).

Working for a flexographic printing company as a junior graphic designer, reproducing artwork for photopolymer plates to be printed on many types of bags for retail outlets. The company eventually relocated to Cornwall.

Responsible for creating and designing beautiful print for a well established printing company in Staffordshire. Work included Brand creation, Promotional Leaflets, Stationery, Brochures, Order forms and a lot of Point of Sale for retail outlets.
I worked here for nearly 6 years as a graphic designer, in which I experienced many aspects of design through to print. My duties included preparing incoming artwork for press and setting artwork for customers. With my hard work and dedication I turned the company into a major force in the printing trade. Skills obtained were handling big clients, meeting deadlines, organising jobs to go to print, working on CPT, Quarkxpress, Coreldraw, Indesign, Photoshop. Most of my time I dealt with Numark Pharmacy, so there was a lot of catalogue work, shooting products, pos, photoshop clipping, photo-retouching, typography, colour correction, brochures etc. Other clients were Burton Albion Football Club, Key Lekkerland and Nottingham Forest Football Club. This is where I recieved Employer of the Year, Tamworth & Lichfield Business Awards 2003, which I am very proud of.
The clients I worked with mainly were Nottingham Forest Football Club, Numark Pharmacy and Key Lekkerland.

Creative Manager, Pre-Press operator, Production and Sales
At FabFab in Cardiff my duties included day to day running of the production, sales, ordering materials, client meets. Design and pre-pressing artwork ready for print. Taking client briefs and seeing through the job to completion. Also I had to design and print work for Exhibit Group. Within the 2 companies I have operated the Canon Flatbed printer and Zund cutting device. Also I have had training on the OMAX WaterJett Cutter where i have cut steel, granite etc for major shop fitters. Within 2 months i gone from just artworking to managing client briefs, ordering stock, invoicing, sales, printing foamex boards, cutting acrylic on the zund and waterjetting steel. this job has enabled me to take on many processes of growing a business from scratch.
