Mariojosé ANGELES, (1965) was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In 1982, he starts studying architecture (University Autonomous of Santo Domingo) and after 3 years into the program, he decides to completely to studying painting. He held various collective and individual exhibitions in the Dominican Republic, starting in 1988. After his exhibition "Iconos Caribe" (1997) in the Archaeological Museum of Altos de Chavón, he was selected to participate in the Salon "Grands et Jeunes d'Aujoud'hui" in Paris. Since then, 1998 to 2007 he lived and worked in Brussels. He studied sculpture in the Academy of Fine Arts Jean Jacques Belliard, Brussels Belgium, in 2000. In 2009 he presented the Installation Project “ Santa Cucaracha” Enquiry on the AIDS vaccine in FIART- First International Art-fire at Palace of Fine Arts, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In 2010 Exhibition elit-tile 2010, Fourth International Ceramic Tile Triennial, Centro León, Santiago, Dominican Republic. In 2010 presented Solo Exhibition “Blue Dreams” Quinta Dominica, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 2011 “Flight Designs” Museum of Modern Art, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 2012- “ Las Marchantas” Palace of Fine Arts, Dominican Republic. 2012- ABSOLUT Blank, International Project. Dominican Republic. 2012- “UNIVESOS PARALELOS” Cultural Center Brasil-Dominican Republic. 2013-Exhibition of artists of permanent collection, Mirador Cultural Center, Dominican Republic.

He lives and works in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Mariojosé ANGELES, (1965)
He is an international renowned artist with more than twenty five years experience.
At the same time, working on Scientific Research Project Santa Cucaracha HIV/Aids Vaccine. A project concept of art, science and society, presented at Palace of Fine Arts in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Since 1995, he's proposing that the most effective PREVENTIVE HIV/Aids VACCINE is in the Cockroaches.

Now has a Global Open Campaign for Education.

"Cockroaches are the oldest living and most powerful creatures on earth, approximately 350 to 400 million years. They have survived major disasters, weather phenomena and atomic bombs. They are strong and resilient because they are loaded with viruses and bacteria and this is the beginning of any immunity.

We follow the same procedure as Edward Jenner did with his research on smallpox. We say: we must strengthen the capacity of the human body immune cells (lymphocytes T CD +4) with proteins from Cockroaches and create antibodies to endure and live with HIV".

A preventive HIV vaccine has the potential to control the global AIDS epidemic and avert the suffering of millions of people.

In September 2010, a group of scientists at the University of Nottingham, England confirmed that: "The Cockroaches, a powerful antibiotic". Despite the bad reputation of cockroaches, these insects may be beneficial to health.

His main purpose is that universities, scientists, researchers, doctors, vaccinologist, immunologists, virologists and great specialists in infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS and vaccines become aware and begin the research in their respective institutions around the world.
