Responsibilities:
- Assisted with UX & UI in projects from South Africa office (where needed)

While at GoodX Software, my biggest accomplishments has been:
- Introducing and implementing prototyping (Figma-based) in the product development process
- Educating various teams involved in the product life cycle (project management, product design, development) about good design & UX principles
- Establishing a UX Strategy and continually gathering UX KPI’s to gauge general user experience
- Instituting a Figma Component Library that is used by the product team in rapid Figma prototyping

Since August 2021, I’ve been GoodX Software’s point person for everything and anything User Experience related, as well as good visual design choices. It’s my job to make sure that any new features or changes to existing features have sound UX principles while staying true to the product.

Daily responsibilities:
- Integrated with multiple departments to add value throughout the company
- Evangelised the value of good UX and design principles through targeted department workshops (Development team, Product Design team, Marketing team,
- Facilitated weekly UX/UI design workshops with practical exercises (Product Design team)

Key responsibilities:
- Graphic Design
- Designing, developing and updating of websites (Company website, Intranet website, clients’ service websites, etc.)
- Designing, printing, updating and stock control of all Marketing material (brochures, conference material, banners, magazine ads, awareness posters, stickers, etc.)
- Designing, printing, updating and stock control of Company material (Mini-CD’s, company folders, business cards, Company Profile, Proposal and Report templates, Work-flow processes, etc.)
- Designing & sending of email marketing campaigns
- Supporting other departments with formatting of documents, creation of visual elements where necessary, general DTP, etc.
- Applying, maintaining and updating of Corporate Identity
- Helping out with events and conferences (setting up banners, marketing material, booth design, etc.)
