With a B.A. in Communication from University of Washington and several marketing jobs later, I learned that I loved working in Photoshop and Illustrator. I decided to move back to LA and take classes at UCLAx and earn a certificate in Design Communication Arts. While back in LA, I decided to do some freelancing on my own to get experience in creating logos and branding for friends and clients. I was hired at 360 Solutions as a Production Artist during the busy season and dove right into digital and packaging design with little training. I assisted in the design of art for global territories with iTunes, PlayStation and Xbox markets, as well as DVD and Blu-Ray packaging designs.

Afterwards, that experience led me to work at Disney Publishing Worldwide. As a designer for books in the Pixar and Disney Animation Studio franchises: Moana, Finding Dory, Zootopia, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Big Hero 6, and Frozen. Promoted to Lead Designer for new intellectual property: Star Darlings. Responsibilities include composing the style guide, art directing, managing freelancers, and collaborating with the Art/Editorial teams. Read Less
