David Marcelo Zamora is an Argentine illustrator trained at the National School of Fine Arts Lola Mora who currently lives in Buenos Aires. In the early 1990s he took courses in illustration and animation. In 1996 he co-founded an animation studio called Nueva Roma, where his first major works were for the Argentine production company 4 Cabezas, and for occasional children's publishers. At the beginning of the 2000 he directed the animation studio of the company Felfort for 5 years, and from 2006 he joined several animated films and TV productions. Featured studios include MTv Latin, HookUp Animation (Cartoon Network), Patagonik Film Group, Metrogames, among others.
As a freelancer he has worked for publishers, advertising agencies and videogames studios. Among these are the works done for Kiwi Inc. of San Francisco, Palo Alto as a conceptual artist, for Caramba Estudio as a storyboardist and character designer, and for the publisher San Pio Nel Mondo Edizioni of Italy, illustrating the life of Padre Pio.
