Manuel Colombo (Desenzano del Garda – 1972) approaches to photography in a self-educated way in the 80s going through the whole evolution from analogue to digital.

His first approach is to landscape photography, photographed with long exposure times, and finally to conceptual fine art photography, always keeping his philosophy: long study preparation and staged shooting.

Driven by the passion for photo reading, he has been teaching photo history and technique since 2009, and he has started a collaboration with several art galleries in Brescia, Rome and Merano (Italy), where he is able to expose his works in some personal and collective exhibitions.

His passion for photography leads him to keep photographic workshops in high schools.

In 2011 he's among the supervisors and promoters of "ISO600 - Instant Photography Festival", the first Polaroid Photo Festival in Italy.
He's been jury member in relevant national photo contests.

Some of his works were published in magazines and newspapers of national importance.
He loves red, black, dark and light. And chocolate as well. Read Less
