A psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in Palo Alto, California, Dr. Mali Mann currently serves as a training psychoanalyst and supervisor at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. She practices individual, play therapy with children, couple, family and psychoanalysis for adults and children. She additionally conducts psychiatric and child custody evaluations and consultations. In addition to her psychiatry practice, Dr. Mali Mann has been an adjunct clinical professor with the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a faculty and supervisor at the San Mateo Psychiatry Residency Program. She serves as a psychoanalytic supervisor for the China American Psychoanalytic Alliance.

After earning her medical degree, Dr. Mann completed an internship in neurology and a psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. A distinguished life member of the American Psychiatry Association, Dr. Mali Mann has earned a number of professional awards, among them, American Medical Woman Association Scholar Award, the 2012 Catchers in the Rye Award from the Psychotherapy Committee of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
