I was born and raised in a graphic design environment. At an age I can´t remember I started playing with typography, colors and shapes.
As a teenager I became more involved in the everyday work of the small graphic design studio leaded by my father, and since then fall in love with this profession.
Looking for open water, at 17 I´ve enrolled Fine Arts School. In the meantime, I made my first official pieces as a junior designer, and learned how to use both manual and digital tools. I´m a thirty something years old designer who has lived a unique experience for anyone this age: I´ve been there when the hand-crafted time consuming design process became the almost instantaneous activity it is nowadays. You can see pencils, ink, a Wacom tablet, a scanner and a computer, living in perfect harmony in my desk, as I think every aesthetic process gets better in the mix with other disciplines. In my designs I try to step on the thin line which differences (or links?) cold industry and art.
After the bohemian experience, I´ve focused on business, attending several marketing, sales and advertising courses, and even coursing two years of Art Direction. I flew away from the family studio and started working as an in-company Art Director and Copywriter (in Spanish). Some years later, with enough energy and knowledge, and with a client list growing on its own, I´ve started working as an independent designer.
Working in many projects, I had the chance to make decisions and work not only as a Designer but also as an Art Director, Writer, Photographer, Strategist and Project Leader. I have a ‘can do’ attitude. Because of that I had the chance to design for many industries, in different fields: I´m able to create logos, responsive websites, packaging, catalogs, stationery, ads, illustrations, signage, info graphics, brochures, flyers, rich media, mobile apps, books & magazines, and more.
Being able to communicate both in Spanish and English, I’ve worked for clients not only within Argentina and the Hispanic market, but also for people from different cultures and with different needs (Belgium, United States, Italy, Hungary, China, Scotland, etc.)
I’m a creative person, passionate, curious, always in motion. I’m a very hard worker and put lots of love and sensibility in what I do (but also learned -through many years- to step aside from my ego and become more practical when it is required... I’m definitely not a prima donna!)
I like leading as much as I love listening: because of that, either working for my own clients or as a Lead Designer I managed to found balance between respecting and following other people’s ideas, while guiding and giving them advise to achieve professional results that benefit business.
At the present time I’m looking for good opportunities, within a nice working environment, working together with great teams -or smart clients- on challenging projects.
I have lots of energy, I love action, change, renewal. I’m intuitive, open-minded and positive (unless I’m in a bad day, once a month.)
