I'm a Creative Director that's worked in interactive professionally since 2000. I care about UX, design, thinking and solving client problems - elegantly.

I started out as a Director kiosk designer and developer, moved to ActionScript then to the agency side, working in new business and then on different agency accounts as Lead Design and upward in Detroit. I really want to try to do status quo things in a new way, and do new things that haven't been done before. I'm currently a Creative Director at Struck in Salt Lake City.

Kid-focused AI worldbuilding for Microsoft. Service Design and Customer Experience strategy for Sony/Funimation. Social content for Acura, Belgian chocolatiers, toothbrushes, and other CPG brands.

Travel and tourism advertising for Niagara’s Wine Country. Tackling news bias. Consulting, UX/UI work for IoT apps. My own comic. A skoch of Nike work. eCommerce design and implementation for an art gallery, character design...and a Mountain America branch campaign for cats...so far.

Started: Employee 1 (as 1 of 3 people in a coffee shop) of the world's first social life platform. Built with the idea of ending social media isolation and bringing people together again in the real world for better days.

Ended: 30+ employees, 7+million dollars in seed funding (including the largest ever investment led by CavAngels), the number 2 social app in New Zealand (not to mention going from 0-20k users in 6 weeks), currently climbing in Australia, 4.3 rated in the app store, over-performing marketing and brand — and well positioned to continue that success as they launch in more countries.

In the middle? Brand building, team building, UX/UI, future product definition and strategy, marketing.

Freelance! Sure, it's part-time now, but after the .com bubble burst and reached Detroit, I split out and did this full time for several years, until starting at Campbell-Ewald. This worked out well, as I was able to work on a bunch of educational clients, Yahoo!, and pretty much all the automotive ad agencies.
