Magnus now lives in London and works mostly in portraiture, for creative and commercial clients. Numerous shoots with critically acclaimed Icelandic musicians such as Retro Stefson, Agent Fresco and Soley as well as Bjork's record label One Little Indian have gained him a name in the local music scene. He also works on commercial shoots for clients such as Visa, Handpoint and 365 media. He has shot for international publications like VICE, The Hollywood Reporter and Gaffa and his portraits of musicians have been printed in magazines like Vogue Italia and NME. His work for Reykjavik Grapevine Magazine includes covershoots and main editorials.

The Danish school of Photographers where the professional photographers in Denmark are trained and educated is placed in Viborg. The school is one of the most modern schools in the world. Since 1994 it has been teaching digital photography. The students have the ultimate opportunity to be trained in lightning and in imaging as well as in ordinary photographic work. They’ll learn to handle all professional formats and must be able to work with advertising and architectural photography, still life and social photography as well as with documentary photography. Furthermore they have the option to specialize in fashion or still lilfe or industrial photography.
