The position sits within the Brand, Content and Design team, within the Customer Experience Division and I am hired as a graphic designer. This position involves effectively supporting the Customer Experience Division and business partners in the development and implementation of brand, design and digital asset strategies and standards for use across OEH, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, and the NSW Environment Protection Authority. In effect, the role contributes to the consistent use of brand and digital assets by internal and external stakeholders.
In the position I provide timely, expert and professional design services to support the delivery of high quality information, marketing and promotional collateral to maximise customer engagement across multiple channels, in alignment with brand, identity, publishing and marketing standards across the OEH Group. On a daily basis I develop and support the customer-centric design and production of corporate communications and marketing collateral for delivery across multiple channels, including information, promotions, publications, signage and displays, videos, and digital and online materials.
I have played a larger role in the creation and design development of contemporary design standards and branding style guidelines for the whole agency. As a part of this, I have played a role in the development of Visual Identities (specifically for Saving Our Species, OEH and the NSW EPA) and their related working design templates for the effective, efficient and consistent design of OEH communications and marketing collateral. These designs reflect OEH guidelines, standards and other government requirements, including accessibility requirements, brand requirements and multi-channel consistency.
