Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to translate my thoughts into things people could see. It started with drawings, and then written stories. Later, I realized I had a passion for visual translation. There are so many concepts in the world that remain opaque—in business, in education, in technology and science—and I aim to make them transparent.

As a graphic design professional, I take the notions, plans, and products of others and help transmute them into visions, things that can represent themselves and make themselves understood. It's more than mere visual communication, it's "here's how it works, here's why it exists, here's what it does, here's how it helps you, here's the history that birthed it, here's what it will lead to, and finally, here's why you fit into that." Often, visuals are just the tiniest piece of the puzzle. And once in awhile, it leads to whole new inventions, and whole new stories to tell. That's what I live for.

Personally, I distill the storytelling aspect of my passions. Drawing comics and writing scripts and stories are a big part of that. I have a lot of stories to tell, and only one life to tell them all. I'm looking for the opportunities that let me tell my best ones. Read Less
