Luc Latulippe

Storyboard artist

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
I started in TV animation in 1990 as an Inbetweener on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and have since then worked in all aspects of animation production (from key animation, to layout, to storyboards, to supervising and directing) on numerous TV shows and features.

I spent two years (1993–95) in Indonesia where I was hired by a new animation studio (Red Rocket Animation) to act as both Creative Director and to train the artists.

From 2000–2013, I freelanced full-time as an illustrator and graphic designer. During that time, I co-founded an art collective called the Jupiter Project with several other local illustrators, and took to designing T-shirts as my personal side project. Both projects continue to this day.

In 2013, I returned to animation. Favourite projects I've worked on have been DreamWorks Animation's reboots of two Jay Ward Productions: "The Mr Peabody & Sherman Show" (Layout Supervisor), and "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle" (Key Posing Artist). Both projects used the traditional, old-school approach of animation: drawing everything by hand.
