Luca Corvatta studied Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano University.
In 2007 he successfully graduated with the project Stones - Compact System Bath which was then awarded at the competition Tri_vision and also showed at Milan Triennale Bovisa.
He continued his studies at IKDC Lund University in Sweden and in 2010 he degreed with honors at his master with the project Acqua Oligominerale di Milano, developed and supervised by Matteo Ragni. The project was selected and published on Abitare.it.
In 2006 he began to collaborate with different design studios such as TheBigSpace, Green Tomato and Dab 9, he was dealing with industrial design, graphic design, photography and video.From 2009 to 2011, he worked for Matteo Ragni Design Studio as a product and graphic designer, he took part in several projects for many companies like Camparisoda, Poltrona Frau, Danese Milano, W-eye, Jannelli&Volpi, Pinetti, Euro3Plust.

In 2010 he started his activity as a freelance designer. During Euroluce 2011 he showed the lamp Naha designed for Omikron Design, he created an installation for Jannelli&Volpi and he was selected for ALDO competition by LAGO with project Lumen. Since the beginning of his freelance career he tried to use his creativity in different fields, from product design to interior design, graphic and photography.
In the following years he produced photo shoots and still life for Evostone, Weye, TobeUs and Viceversa. Since 2009 he has been collaborating with Versace as a photographer.

From January 2012 he began working with the architectural firm A++, and he shortly became art director of A++ Communication. In the same year he founded his own creative studio called TANDEM that deals with graphic design, web and interior design.

In 2013 he started teaching: he now holds seminars on Design History and he works as Teaching Assistant for prof. Beatrice Villari and prof. Arianna Vignati at Politecnico di Milano.
