Lorry Packo

UI/UX Designer

Paris, France
I love working on products and experiences where users are able to learn in a playful way. I worked at Lalilo as a UX/UI designer for 4 years, to help more students learn how to read at their own pace in the US, Canada, and France. I was in charge of making Lalilo an engaging platform to motivate students through the school year.

I work across Graphic Design, UX Design, and UI Design in order to create the best experience for the end-user: visual design, animation, engaging interfaces, user research, prototypes.

I’m looking for my next adventure in France or abroad, to engage more users into playful and interactive learning journeys.

Work Experience

Lalilo

Lalilo develops a program for primary school teachers to teach literacy in an engaging and differentiated way. Primary school students learn how to read on Lalilo through a gamified experience: they evolve through worlds, earn badges, and unlock stories. Student engagement is key to their success.

I joined Lalilo when the project was still an idea. My role has been to focus on student engagement through:
• Designing attractive interfaces so that students can have a joyful learning experience
• Illustrating worlds and stories to reward students
• Researching and user testing in classrooms to define students’ need and behavior
• Creating an engaging gamification system (badges and stories) to motivate students through the school year
2016 - 2020 California, United States
