As a student, I completed projects that highlight great design skills and included goal setting, problem solving, and team building. Projects over the semesters included reductive drawing, type usage, branding, 3D signage, logo design, and layout.

My favorite semester-long project was branding an exhibition for The International Typographic Style at SFMOMA. This included research, which drove the concept. The projects consisted of designing a book cover, a brochure, 3D signage, and a poster. Applying and manipulating artwork and theme into all of these venues proved very rewarding. I enjoyed working in miniature on the 3D signage the most.

I also volunteer for a non-profit agency with a 15 year history of doing adoptions from African countries. The agency is now shifting its focus to post-adoption support for families with children from any country. I will be tasked with changing the look of the company's branding to reflect the non-country specific goals. This will be a challenge, as the company name is "African Cradle".

I possess drive, commitment and real world knowledge. My strongest assets are quality of workmanship and persistence and resourcefulness. I spend a great deal of time researching data, goals, marketing, planning, etc. in order to meet my clients needs.
