Graphic Designer

Developed the Worthington Libraries brand and created complete set of brand guidelines, including a manual for staff. Designed and produced the Find yourself here. awareness campaign, which won the prestigious national John Cotton Dana Award for libraries. Implemented the new brand through a variety of print materials including newsletters, posters, fliers and banners. Worked in cooperation with the digital library manager to create the library’s website, mobile site and mobile app. Researched, sourced and designed completely new environmental signage and wayfinding systems for the three library locations.

Responsible for conceptualization and design of strategic merchandise campaigns, communicating brand ideals through custom promotional products, packaging, and marketing collateral. Developed campaign ideas, illustrated merchandise concepts and directed product photo shoots. Produced clever and compelling campaigns for a wide variety of clients, such as Nike, Starbucks, Nintendo and Microsoft, while working collaboratively with a creative team and account managers.

Developed complete recruitment campaigns for institutions of higher education along the east coast. Communicated each college or university’s unique brand message through a variety of mediums including print collateral, annual reports, interactive media and identity design. Responsibilities also included art direction of photo shoots, color correction and retouching, and production and print management including press approvals. Worked directly with clients, and in a collaborative atmostphere with a creative director, copywriter and junior designer.
