I am a vibrant, energetic young man with passion for a challenge. I bring a unique energy and enthusiasm to any situation or team, always seeking an alternative, undiscovered angle. I balance a strong information systems background, with web skills set with a flair for design and creativity.

I graduated from the Randse Afrikaanse Universiteit (now University of Johannesburg) in 2004 after completing a BComm Informatics. I completed a BComm (Hons) Information Systems with Organisational Behaviour from the University of Cape Town in 2005.

In addition to my formal degrees, I have completed several personal development courses to further my knowledge and expertise in my fields of interest. These include SQL Server, Java Programming, Marketing Knowledge Course, Web Design Course and Adobe Suite Courses.

In 2005, together with a few classmates, I organised a Computer Literacy Course at Polsmoor Prison in Tokai, Cape Town. Here we ran an 8 lesson course over 2 months for juvenile inmates, teaching them the basics of computer literacy, empowering them for their integration back into society. In my honours year, I tutored second year Information Systems students at UCT.

After graduating, I worked for two years as a Junior Project Manager for 4Ward-Design: an Audio Visual company with focus on integration and control. I worked closely with clients and was responsible for numerous projects, from conception through to implementation and client handover. I spent a year abroad travelling through Mexico and South America, and upon my return I joined KPMG Cape Town as a Junior IT Analyst on a contract basis. Here I was involved in the IT System audit for a number of key clients in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Towards the end of 2008, I joined Digiata as a member of the Implementation team, where I was involved with software conversion at Metropolitan. In 2009 I started my own Freelance Design company, and had to sourced my clients and projects from scratch. To date it was my most challenging year financially and mentally, but ultimately it taught me priceless business skills.
Currently, I am employed at Pam Golding Properties New Media, where I manage digital communication elements to drive sales, empower Agents with digital knowledge and tools, client relationship management for the Group, all online campaign management, all online content management for various websites both internal and external.

I am a highly active, adventure-seeking individual. I thrive on new challenges and am seldom found lazing around! I am an active surfer, mountain biker and squash player. In my spare time, I enjoy searching for undiscovered waves with my friends and brothers. Read Less
