About Me

Hi,
I'm Layla Mosleh.
Born in Cairo-Egypt, Oct 1989.

Found my passion for digital painting and drawing with my first daughter birth, all started with a Samsung note and grew to now using Wacom cintiq and Ipad- Procreate-worked on many projects from illustrating wedding invitations to children books, .

Found a new passion for upcycling after meeting Catherine Eltaweel and introducing me to Kendaka in it's first days back in 2019.

I started as a instructor and trainer for the Women in the workshop, supervising the quality and creating pieces by hand,

Took the responsibility of photography and managing the social media platforms along side with creating Designs and digitally adjusting motifs for sticker making on Adobe illustrator,I was trained to use the Mimaki plotter and be in charge of producing the needed designs for Glass production, and then i was in charge of training the women of the workshop to use and produce the stickers themselves.

Helped in Production Data by creating Excel sheets for Products and buyers, shipping and transportation.

At Kendaka i learnt to work on looms as our start for plastic weaving production line and managed to prototype our very first weaved plastic fabric.

I'm responsible for the maintenance and updating our Website with new products, blog posts and updating/adding pages to the portal.

2021 - started working on our main Catalog, Glass and Textile sections, i was in charge of photography, content creating and graphic design.
