Responsibilities include page design, copy editing, headline writing, proof reading and photo processing. Also work as a photographer on assignment, assist chief copy editor in training new personnel and manage news desk in her absence. Work in a high pressure environment, meeting multiple deadlines.

Designed department logo and brochure and other promotional materials for the Critical Race, Gender and Sexuality Department at Humboldt State University. Responsibilities included digital photography; creative and technical work using Adobe Creative Suite 3, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
