Kwame is an art director, animator, illustrator and filmmaker based in Nairobi, Kenya.

After attending the Academy of Art University in California and working at Industrial Light and Magic, Kwame returned to Kenya where was involved in various animation training and production initiatives such as UNESCO’s "Africa Animated!" project and Disney/Tiger Aspect’s "Tinga Tinga Tales" TV series.

Kwame created the short film "The Legend of Ngong Hills" which explores the possibilities of animating African folk tales and fantasy. He has also written and illustrated children’s books namely "A Tasty Maandazi" and "I Love Ugali and Sukuma Wiki".

His live-action work includes directing music video's like "Lovin’ This Home", art direction on the Netflix TV series "Sense8" and creative direction on various advertisement films.

Working in advertising at Ogilvy Africa, Kwame was part of the team that created the "The World's Most Eligible Bachelor" campaign which won several awards at the 2017 and 2018 Cannes Lions Festival.
