Graphic designer providing a creative voice for Earth Fare within a team structure to bring merchandising and marketing programs to life through print and digital channels. Senior Designer responsible for the design, layout and production of book interiors, covers and jackets, including: management of local and remote freelance designers; design research and presentation; typesetting and layout; page revisions and text corrections; and book preparation for delivery to the printer. Collaboration with editors, designers, marketing and production staff throughout the book creation process. Management of art and illustration programs, including budgets, illustration development, and commissioning and managing freelance illustrators.

Art Director responsible for the design, pre-press production and scheduling of multiple books. Design and production using Adobe Creative Suite. Oversight of contracted photographers, models, stylists and design freelancers.

Worked directly with Creative Director, responsible for logo and letterhead design, brochures and booklets, magazine ads, packaging, environmental graphics and some illustration. Pre-press production work involved high-end four color process work (including the use of additional PMS colors, varnishes, tints, metallics and other specialties), extensive work involving offset and web printing, color proofing and press checks, Photoshop retouching and flat bed scanning techniques.

Freelance designer responsible for publications materials including course catalogs, advertising, promotional posters and postcards, brochures, newsletters and annual reports.
