I'm a graphic designer, illustrator, and blogger based in Madison, WI. It might seem strange that I get excited thinking about colors, typography, and layout design, but my passion for all aspects of design has remained strong throughout my career.
As a kid growing up in the military doing your best work and being kind to others was something that was ingrained in me every step of the way.
Kid Joseph was always sketching in his notebook and dreaming of larger than life ideas. Drawing on my parent's walls and scribbling doodles in class was a regular activity.
Once I got to college though I knew that creating shit was something that I was born to do. having an open mind and a drive to explore was necessary for me to find my way in the digital design realm.
Out of college, I worked for UnitedHealth Group as a multimedia designer primarily crafting microsites and assisting the marketing department in creating creative assets. From there I moved down to Madison where I now live and work as a User Interface and Graphic Designer at The Digital Ring Ad Agency.
