To Whom It May Concern,

Ken joined Zebra as a summer student in 2002 and started full-time with us in 2003 after graduating from school.

Starting as a Junior Designer in the calendar department he was promoted to the head of the calendar design after a year. In this role Ken redefined the position by managing many tasks and taking on many additional responsibilities. In addition to being a great designer, Ken was very organized and demonstrated strong management skills.

After several years as head of the calendar design Ken was promoted again to become Production Designer. Once again, demonstrating skill and efficiency in his role he was recently promoted to Production Manager.

Ken has consistently risen to the occasion and proven himself as a capable and trustworthy individual. Ken gets along well with other staff, suppliers and customers. He will be missed at Zebra.

I am pleased to recommend Ken. Please feel free to contact me should you wish to discuss Ken further.

Yours truly,

Paul Perkins

To Whom It May Concern

I have had the pleasure of completing many business transactions with Ken Taylor over the course of the past two years as a supplier of printing services for his current employer, Zebra Studios.

In all our dealings, Ken has consistently conducted business in a very professional manner. His briefs are always thorough, the details carefully reviewed and the instructions outlined very clearly. He always takes great care to make sure he meets and surpasses his clients’ expectations. His preparation helps us to deliver the finished products in a shorter time frame and adds to customer satisfaction.

I have no doubt in my mind that Ken’s work ethic and capabilities will be a great addition to your organization, contributing to the success of the enterprise.

Sincerely,

Brenda Massie

To Whom It May Concern:

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Ken Taylor for the past 3.5 years. As a member of the Retail Marketing Department for Levi Strauss & Co. (Canada) Inc.; my sole responsibility was providing customer specific signage for Canadian retailers. Ken was appointed my graphic designer developing POS & Navigation for both the Levi’s® & Dockers® brands.

In my experience, Ken has proven to be a creative and innovative graphic designer offering clever design solutions when a challenge arises. An example would be the Sears Navigation. Ken designed a concept that functioned with the Sears Corporate sales initiatives and was also aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Sears approved the concept with no questions asked.

As a production manager; he is organized, detailed and dependable ensuring the job is consistently delivered on time and on budget. An example would be the Bay Seasonal POS. We would rarely receive approval from the Bay in a timely manner, but Ken would skilfully negotiate with the printers ensuring my on-floor deadline was met.

Ken gets the job done and get’s it right. I have had numerous opportunities to work with other designers and I can honestly say, “They do not compare”. His diligence and methodical thinking saves botroximaph time and money since his concepts rarely need to go through multiple revisions. Knowing Ken is on the job always gave me a sense of security that my job would be a success.

In addition, Ken has always presented himself in a pleasant and professional manner exercising a high standard of commitment. He will be a welcomed addition to any organization.

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this letter as my personal letter of recommendation for Ken Taylor. As Creative Design Manager at The Bay, I had the pleasure to work with Ken in his roll at Zebra Studios as a graphic designer and Project Manager, and he immediately became an integral part of my team. Now, three years later, his is in pursuit of new opportunities to expand his considerable skills.

Ken had always been a calm, cool and collected individual. In my more often than not chaotic, ever changing world of retail, he was the voice of reason. In his role in dealing with me and my team, his multitasking abilities and leadership skills would often come into play. Projects varied in different stages at the same time, from initiation, design, production to delivery and installation. I always felt at ease knowing that he was overseeing all these projects and would have an update, option or solution to any question or problem I had.

Ken is also a talented Graphic Designer with a knack for listening to his client’s needs and expectations while offering his knowledge and expertise. His attention to detail and vast knowledge of printing processes and materials assist me in making the right cost effective decisions in my job.

He has gone beyond my expectations for his role as a vendor and had become a member of my team. As sad as I am to see him go, it is also my pleasure to recommend Ken for your organization. He will be a terrific addition.

Best Regards,

To whom it may concern:

When Ken arrived at Gravity none of us could have predicted the force of creativity he was about to unleash. Many said it was reminiscent of the big bang; the birth of the universe and it certainly was the birth of ours. With Ken at the helm our company quickly turned into a starship enterprise, flying through the galaxy of clients boldly going where none had gone before. Creating new relationships with clients that often seemed from another planet. His ability to enter a volatile situation was like no other, like the great captain Kirk himself he spread joy and understanding wherever he went.

One memorable occasion was during a meeting with our top client. The room was quickly turning into a cat-fight. The client wasn’t happy, we weren’t happy… it even started raining. Just when all hope was lost Ken knew just what to do. He burst in the room wearing only a pair of old red y-fronts. Got up on the table and proceeded to do a dance. Everyone fell about laughing and the mood was quickly changed. Ever the professional Ken did not stop there. From deep inside his pants he pulled out a carefully folded bit of A4 paper, without giving away too much detail all I can say is that it was like finding the lost scrolls of Jeremiah.

Hire this man as soon as you can, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you’d missed your chance already.

With love,

William Jane
