RUFF CYCLES is an independent and authentic bicycle brand, based in Regensburg, Germany.

Rider-owned, the company is known for its dedication in making custom frames and complete bikes and e-bikes with a unique look!
With the all-around 20in. "Lil'Buddy", the retro and elegant 26in. "Ruffian" and the stylish commuter "Biggie", the brand quickly made a name for itself in the bike business.
RUFF CYCLES frames and components are handcrafted in their own ISO-certified manufacturing facilities. RUFF CYCLES, being a subsidiary company of the GS Group, has more than a decade of experience in the bicycle frame manufacturing business and is also building frames for well-known performance mountain-bike brands.

Job Description:
Working side by side with the CEO on the design strategy and product launch agenda. Functional management with production and marketing.
Handling development and negotiation with suppliers. Managing the company design language and piloting its application.

Missions :
• strategic rebranding: new company logo and corporate identity
• leading the design & development of the new bike “BIGGIE” & its after-market accessories (mudguards, bags...)
• co-piloting the new collections schedule and product catalog update

The company has built a solid reputation in the bike industry over the last 20 years, developing high-end complete bikes and proven quality parts, tested and approved by the best riders in the world.

Wemakethings offers one of the strongest brand portfolio in the BMX industry, with internationally acclaimed brands such as Wethepeople, Eclat, Radio Bikes, Radio Raceline, Salt, Salt+, Bombtrack, and Fuse Protection.

• bikes: product range graphic and color strategy, OEM and AM models
• parts & accessories: ideation, sketches, 2D and 3D cad, process choices
• soft products (protections, bags, clothing): moodboards, product design, tech packs
• network: teamwork with CEO, sales, marketing, graphic designers and freelancers
• product development/management: daily communication with international partners and manufacturers
• product testing and validation: in the streets and skateparks with our team riders

Thanks to many factory visits, I also have a good knowledge of many product & packaging process : offset & digital printing, serigraphy, folding machines, plastic injection, thermoforming, mould making...
