I am an illustrator designer who has made my way across the states from San Diego, CA, to Kansas City, MO, to pursue my passion of creating. Before coming to the school, my main medium was acrylic paint and charcoal but that has since evolved as my love for watercolors became more apparent. I have been exhibited in many exhibitions since my journey as an artist began. From getting two pieces accepted to the Escondido Center of Arts Museum in 2015, to being a part of the Kansas City Art Institute’s first exhibition of laser cut art in 2017, “First Cut: Prototypes and Processes.” Even as an undergraduate I was selected to have my art published in Bill Severn’s book, “Donuts, Diamonds, and Dreams.” Being ever vigilant and persistent I had the pleasure of becoming the first Marketing Intern at the Kansas City Zoo in 2018. I have learned that anything is possible if you really work for it. Always remember the frustrating truth that struggle is fuel for the creative mind. Read Less
