Studio Responsibilities
- Taught portraiture, sculpture, painting and book binding to adults and children
- Performed instructional Demos to provide students with ideas and to show different techniques to accomplish different goals
- Gave lectures on technique, history, materials, perspective, color theory, seeing and composition to better acclimate students to the creative process
- Used oil, acrylic and spray paints, clay, wood, wax plaster and metal as mediums for creating and designing art
- Provided training to students in basic carpentry, spot welding and casting
- Assisted students in preparing and erecting installations of their own art work
- Managed maintenance and upkeep of the studio space to promote a positive and clean work environment
- Assisted and organized professional photography for the studio
