I am a fine artist currently studying as an undergraduate in Albany, New York. So far, my studies have focused on painting both in acrylics and oils; drawing of traditional still life, figure drawing and experimental mixed media; printmaking, including intaglio, linocut, and woodblock printing; digital photography and imaging; clay ceramics and sculpture, including raku; and web design. In addition to my studies, I am currently working as an assistant in a fine art gallery. I have also worked at a private children’s school where I acted as an art teacher’s assistant and as a mentor to young artists in the classroom. Post undergraduate studies, I plan to receive my master’s degree in fine arts. I have also studied fine arts at the Paris College of Art while living in and exploring the city of Paris, France during my sophomore year of college.

I have been honored with several awards and recognitions for my artwork including being featured in the 2011 “Art in Three Dimensions” juried art show by Capital Area Art Supervisors. In high school, I received the Outstanding Achievement in Art Award in Sculpture as well as the Principal’s Art Collection Award. My piece will be permanently showcased in the principal’s collection in the student library. I have also been exhibited in the 2012 Albany Art Barn “UniverCITY” Student Art Show. More recently, my photography has been included in the 2014 Annual Student Show at the Troy Photo Center and my sculpture in the 2014 Small Works Show at the Shirt Factory Gallery in Glens Falls, New York.

In my free time, I enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a good book. I am available to be hired to paint murals or for other art/design related work. Read Less
