London, United KingdomDiversity is the key to my artistic creativity. That is why my works differ in size and media. I like to experiment a great deal with various techniques, such as collage, colorful inks and tissue paper. I love linear work, but I'm also passionate about colour, and Paul Klee, Henri Matisse and Olaf Hajek are my experts in terms of colour relations. My first „Bestiary” series and „Stage Settings” were created in 2015. They both got awarded. The „Bestiary” series was published in the newest 3x3 magazine of contemporary illustration catalogue, and my „Stage Settings” won first prize in the 7th edition of Concorso Buenos Aires in Milan. Why do I create art? It would be cliche to say that it is the sole purpose of my life. But in fact, it is, apart for family and friends. My sources of inspiration are derived from the works of old masters, such as Albrecht Durer, Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel. I am also influenced by XXth century artists, such as Leonora Carrington, Mark Rothko, and Sonia Delaunay. My main objective in art is to achieve a perfect combination of masterful linear work and the simplicity of saturated colours. I use collage in my works and saturated colored inks to add some freshness to the vintage drawings. That is also why I started creating more contemporary, abstract paintings, to allow some spontaneity in the creative process.
