"21 days" is the exploration and the documentation of The Sasha Bruce House. The Sasha Bruce house is an emergency shelter for homeless, abandoned, abused, neglected, and runaway children. It is D.C.’s only short-term shelter for young people. The house is open 24 hours a day and has up to 10 children, six female and four males, between the ages of 11 to 17. These children are allowed to stay a maximum of 21 days in the house. On-site services include crisis intervention; individual, group, and family counseling; case management, support for shelter graduates, and temporary respite care. Read Less
