I am currently working out my life as an artist, and would like to welcome you along on the journey, if you wish!

I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to spend time in New York City, interning and volunteering at fantastic art spaces such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The artists whose work are displayed in these museums are just as human and just as talented as unique people I have had the pleasure to get to know.

During the 2012-13 school year, I assisted Teaching Artist, Jenny Bevill at PS 8 in Brooklyn Heights (NY) where we spent Wednesday mornings with 4th graders, introducing them to professional artists who are using their talents to make a difference and instilling in them that they are capable of doing the same. Of those who have come across my path, there are too many wonderful people to mention – from Bakery owners to Japanese Abstract Painters – and I continue to be blessed with the opportunity to meet more!

My heart leads me to a place where I am compelled to commit the rest of my life producing artwork reflecting some of the inspiring characteristics of these encounters. Who knows where life with go?

Be open with me and experience the positive as we do life together! Read Less

As I child, I would retreat to my room, close my door and spend hours coloring or drawing on my bedroom floor. My parents gave me art supplies, but I would find whatever I could to create projects. The little girl that I once was did not go away. In fact, she knocks on my door when I am unhappy at a day job and throws pieces of crumpled up paper at my head as I sit watching TV.

“You were meant to create!” she yells, “Create as if your life depends on it!” (Because…it does.) Read Less
