Justin K. Hite is an Artist, Designer, & Producer from Cincinnati, OH. He is a true student of the game, who understands the context of creative strategy, solid execution in design, the psychologies involved in marketing and advertisement, and importance of deadlines within the confines of production. As a diverse freelance artist, Justin has worked both independently and alongside some of the best in the creative field.
In 2010, Justin created "J:10 Studios," which specializes in Brand Identity, Print Layout and Design, and Creative Direction. Under J:10 Studios, Justin has produced content and been featured in such publications as The Athletes United Foundation (in conjunction with NFL Teams Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts), Papa John's Pizza, TASTE Cincinnati Magazine, CincinnatiOnline, City Beat Cincinnati, Cincinnati MetroMix, CIN Weekly Magazine, The Northern Kentucky Enquirer, and a host of clients in and around the Cincinnati Area.
Justin is a featured member of the artist faction, "Ghost Empire Collective," as a Visual Artist, Digital Media Producer, and Promotional Co-Editor. Active duties in contribution also include writing, filming, and editing all of Ghost Empire's video content, in addition to creating and performing Live Art, visual works, and the Promotional, Branding and Merchandising of the group.
During the Fall season, Justin has produced a variety of Halloween-based, horror/avant-garde themed creations on clients and models, alike. Having worked eleven seasons as an Actor/Makeup Artist onboard the USS Nightmare, Justin was awarded "Best Makeup Artist With Use of Prosthetics" in 2006, and helped earn the attraction such recognition as being among the Top 13 Scariest Haunted Attractions in America.
As an entrepreneur in film production, Justin has contributed Makeup & Special Effects, General Direction, and even Acted in full feature-length films, "Lights Out," and "Hell Doesn't Have Time to Raise Babies," (Rockabilly Blood Productions), "MMSBC," and "Captain Atari," (Bit-Pop Productions), and select independent films and photo shoots with some of the city's finest photographers, models, and live bands.
In relation to Art & Design in social media, Justin writes and produces content for his YouTube channel, which features artists, musicians, and actualized content in reality-based skits and documentation. In only it's first year, the show has received over 150 thousand views.
Justin is also a regular on-air personality on The Switch Radio, hosting, "J:10 Studios Presents: The Sleeper," which features music and talk commentary, in a podcast-enabled variety, and has formed two successful rock bands, releasing albums in 2004, 2007, and a planned self-release in 2014.
