Julia began her design career at Norwich University College of the Arts, UK. Graduating with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, Julia had the opportunity to attend internships at various design agencies, followed by full time employment in London. Gaining a vast amount of experience in branding for a diverse range of business, from fashion houses, charities, small boutique businesses to national corporate companies, recruitment, the medical and banking industry, eventually lead her to the role of Lead Designer for HSBC Private Bank for the Asia Pacific region where she worked through two rebrand exercises.

Upon relocating to Australia, Julia started working as a freelance designer with corporate clients in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. She also produced exhibitions as an artist/maker in Melbourne, Adelaide and Chicago. Julia then had the opportunity to work with a strategic branding agency in Adelaide where she had gained valuable insight into the Australian corporate market.

Having spent the first 12 years of her life in Hong Kong, relocating to the UK and now residing in Australia, Julia's work is strongly influenced by her culturally diverse background, often infused with Eastern and Western cultures.
In her spare time Julia explores her creativity through a diverse range of medium: illustration, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery and clothes making to name but a few. She firmly believes there is creativity within all of us, and thrives on the contacts and connections she has made throughout her journey.

Living by Stefan Sagmeister's “Can you touch someone’s heart with design?”, Julia takes enormous pleasure in learning and growing as a designer and an artist. Read Less
